Schulenburg 35, Weimar 34

SCHULENBURG - Kyle Bludau threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to David Houston and added the extra point kick with 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter to lift Schulenburg to a 35-34 District 26-2A win over Weimar.

Weimar had taken a 34-28 lead on a 39-yard pass from Brixx Hawthorne to Brandon Williams with 2:25 and a two-point conversion pass from Brixx Hawthorne to Lynx Hawthorne.

Schulenburg ended the regular season at 5-5 overall and 3-3 in district. Weimar fell to 7-2 and 3-2.

Bludau threw four touchdown passes and Brixx Hawthorne threw for two touchdowns and ran for three.
